Datwyler`s newest FirstLine production facility in Alken, Belgium with an area of 6000 m² is part of this enduring commitment and has been designed and equipped according to the latest guidelines of good manufacturing practice.

Each zone has been designed and built with the utmost care to prevent biocontamination. Each one is equipped with material locks. The automatic loading of state-of-the-art continuous washing systems takes place in one zone, while the automatic unloading takes place in a zone with even higher cleanliness. The new cleanroom is also equipped with the latest generation of camera inspection systems. The entire facility has streamlined and lean production processes in line with the Six Sigma methodology.

Furthermore, all critical processes and equipment are subjected to several validation procedures. The ISO 15378-certified facility in Alken sets new standards in the production of primary packaging components for parenterals.
