West LyoTec® stoppers have the West FluroTec® film applied to their top surface, which prevents the stoppers from sticking to the pressure plates. The unique West LyoTec® igloo stopper design effectively prevents mechanical twinning. Because the FluroTec® coating is applied only to the top, non-medicated surface, integration of LyoTec® stoppers into production lines may require minimal regulatory review, especially for manufacturers using an approved West configuration and formulation.
